The Youth AI Video Challenge platform just got a major upgrade!

Our new “First–Last Frame to Video” feature helps students quickly build smooth transitions - perfect for intros, outros, and creative storytelling.

You can now generate an entire animation between your first and last frames in seconds, directly inside the AI4Life Chat platform.

✨Step-by-Step: How We Created a Sample Scene

Step 1. Choose a Scene Idea

We imagined a fun story:

A little robot takes its first step (“start frame”) and waves goodbye as the scene fades into the sunset (“end frame”).You can do the same with any theme you like - animals, space, school projects, or a short story idea.

Step 2. Generate the First Frame (with Flux)

Open our AI4Life Chat and use the Flux image generation plugin to create your starting image.

Prompt example:

“A small robot standing on a playground, ready to start moving.”

Wait for the image to render, then download or keep it in your workspace.

Step 3. Generate the End Frame (with Nano Banana)

Now, create the ending image using Nano Banana for a slightly more stylized or cinematic look.Prompt example:

“The same robot walking into a glowing sunset, waving at the camera.”

This becomes your final frame.

Step 4. Combine Them — First → Last Frame

Go to the new First–Last Frame to Video feature here:

Upload your first and last frames.

The system will automatically generate an animated transition between them using Veo 3.1 technology.

Step 5. Review and Export

Preview your generated clip. If it looks good, download it and add it to your project timeline on the AI4Life Chat Video Platform.

Then upload your final video for submission!
